Dental Insurance, Payments, and Financing
If you have dental insurance, we will make every reasonable effort to help you maximize the dental benefits that you have already paid for. We also provide a number of payment options, and financial arrangements that allow you to receive and pay for quality care in a convenient manner that best suits your personal situation.
Payment in full is requested on the day treatment is provided.

If payment in full is not possible, we would be happy to customize a payment schedule for you, one that will be fair for you, and fair for the office.
Gateway Dental Group offers several third party financing options with CareCredit. Qualified patients can choose from interest-free options up to 12 months OR fixed payment loans up to 60 months with interest.
Finance charges can be avoided when an initial payment of 50% is made at the start of treatment, and the balance is paid within 60 days. Please speak with our financial coordinator either by telephone or in person prior to the start of treatment to set up a payment schedule.
If You Have Insurance
We emphasize as dental care providers that our relationship is with you, and not your insurance company. While filing of insurance claims is a courtesy that we extend to all our patients, all charges are your responsibility from the date the services are rendered.
In order for us to submit your dental insurance claim on your behalf, please provide the following:
- Signed and dated Insurance Authorization forms are required each year in order for us to submit your claim to your Insurance carrier.
- Eligibility verification is required prior to commencement of all major treatment.
For unpaid balances after your dental insurance benefit plan has paid its portion, financial arrangements are necessary. Our financial coordinator is available to discuss your estimated insurance coverage, annual maximum, deductible and financial arrangements for the amount not covered.
A finance charge of 18% annual percentage rate (1.5% per month) will accrue on any unpaid balances after 60 days.
All monthly statements are due and payable upon receipt unless prior financial arrangements have been made. We accept cash, checks, debit cards, and most major credit cards. Patients with delinquent accounts are liable for all costs incurred for collection of past due balances, including collection agency fees, attorney fees, court fees, and all costs involved in litigation.
