Instead of avoiding these items, you simply take out your aligners before each meal, and replace them afterward. This removable nature also makes brushing and flossing your teeth each day much easier as well. You can carefully clean your teeth to lower the risk of stains, cavities, or gingivitis, and clean the orthodontics with soaking and brushing.
